Analysis

Alabama – Pretty hard to disagree that Alabama does not get 99’s across the boards winning back to back national championship.

Oregon – I agree with the rating of 99 on Offense for Oregon, but a rating of 92 on defense is a little too high especially with a high powered offense scoring as quick as Oregon does.

LSU – I think it is hilarious that LSU’s offense (93) is higher rated than their defense (92). Every year LSU has a lack luster offense to say the least. I believe that LSU’s defense should definitely be in the high 90’s, but fear of many players exiting the NFL may have put fear in this rating system.

Texas – As always in every NCAA game Texas is wayyyyy overrated. Talent wise the rating may make sense but the third highest rating in the game…I don’t think so.

Virginia Tech – They have absolutely no business on getting a 91 on offense. They are not even close to being a high powered offense especially since they don’t even have a deep threat. Defensively I would have given them a 98, but they decided a 95.

Michigan – As a Michigan Fan, I always think they are overrated in most NCAA games, but this one actually may have gotten it right with a 91 on offense and 92 on defense.

Michigan State – I think they are undervalued on defense at 93, but way overvalued on offense at 90.

Washington – Where did they come from? They are definitely a balanced team but a 91 on offense and 90 on defense…I don’t see it

Ole Miss – Stop it…Ole Miss is doing a great job recruiting but 91 on offense and 88 on defense…just stop.

South Carolina – How the hell are they only rated a 90 on defense? They must have thought Clowney left for the pros. Offensive rating at 88 is fair.

Ratings I Agreed With

  1. Ohio State
  2. Clemson
  3. Notre Dame
  4. Florida State
  5. Georgia
  6. North Carolina
  7. Oklahoma
  8. Oklahoma State
  9. Stanford
  10. Texas A&M
  11. USC
  12. Baylor
  13. Florida
  14. Louisville
  15. Miami (FL)
