Breaking News: James Spader To Play Ultron’s Voice in Avengers: Age of Ultron
Summer 2015 is shaping up to be an amazing summer for movies. Marvel made some major news this summer at comic con by announcing the Avengers 2 official title, Avengers: Age of Ultron. Now Marvel has announced that James Spader will be the voice of Ultron. He has a rich history of acting in movies and television. Spader won 3 Primetime Emmy Awards for his amazing portrayal of super lawyer Alan Shore on the Practice and Boston Legal alongside William Shatner. Most recently he seen on the The Office as the amazing Robert California.
Ultron is a sentient Artificial Intelligence that first appeared in Avengers 54 & 55 in 1968. He has been a major problem villain for the Avengers and the Marvel Universe as a whole ever since. I do not know how Joss Whedon will handle Ultron for the new movie in 2015. Ultron was created by Dr. Hank Pym who may or may not be in Edgar Wright’s Ant-Man in 2015 for Marvel as well. I also do not know how Marvel will deal with Ultron’s metal shell since in the comic books it is primarily Adamantium, the same metal that lines Wolverine’s claws. Unfortunately the last time i checked all X-Men properties are owned by Fox Studios, don’t get me started on crossovers and how both studios would win big.
Needless to say, The Avengers was the biggest movie of 2012 and The Avengers: Age of Ultron might be the biggest movie of 2015, but they have to beat Star wars: Episode 7. Which one will be the biggest summer movie of 2015 is unknown and difficult to predict but one thing is clear, 2015 is Disney’s year.
