Matt Damon Joins Super Genius Director Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar

We at Butr cannot overstate how awesome it is that Matt Damon has joined Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar. If you have been living under a rock over the past decade and do not know who Christopher Nolan is then you should be ashamed.

Christopher-Nolan

My personal love for Christopher Nolan first started in 2000 with his brilliant Memento and grew as his career did. Insomnia, The Dark Knight Trilogy, The Prestige, and Inception round out his brilliant star studded career. Christopher Nolan has worked with the likes of Hugh Jackman, Leonardo DiCaprio, Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine, Al Pacino, and many more. He has never worked with the wonderful and always handsome Matt Damon, until now!

Matt Damon

Matt Damon has had a great career starting off with an Academy Award for Best Screenplay for Good Will Hunting in 1998 and a nomination for Best Supporting Actor in 2010 for Invictus. Matt Damon went on to entertain the masses with the Bourne Trilogy and recently starred in the Sci-Fi adventure by Neill Blomkamp, Elysium. His movie career box office total is roughly $2.5 Billion.

As always with Christopher Nolan movies, the details are very scarce. What we do know is that Interstellar will also feature Anne Hathaway, Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain, Topher Grace, Wes Bentley, Ellen Burstyn, Michael Caine, Casey Affleck, and John Lithgow! That is 6 Academy Award Nominees in one movie with 19 nominations between them. Nolan is also a double Academy Award Nominee. The only thing that has been said about the plot is that Interstellar is about space travelers going through a wormhole. Alternate dimensions and possible time travel have also been rumored to be parts of the storyline. Seriously, are you still on the fence? All you need to know honestly, is that Christopher Nolan and his brother Jonathan wrote the screenplay as they almost always do with their movies. Do not say I did not warn you that Interstellar is going to be a big hit when released on November 7, 2014.
