Jags want Tebow

“The Jaguars’ season is really in the tank,” James Stewart, a 56-year-old Jacksonville native and Jaguars fan who is one of the event’s organizers, told ESPN.com. “They don’t have a lot of promise. There’s not a lot to watch. We’re consumers and the Jaguars are a product, and there’s a lot of room for improvement. Tebow we think would be value added if he were to be signed and given an opportunity at quarterback. …

“It’s the perfect time in our view to do a Tebow experiment. Whether you like him or not, I think everyone would watch. It would be compelling.”

“Make it clear, we the fans, want the Jacksonville Jaguars to bring in Tim Tebow. You know you want to see this happen.”

Sherman vs. Harbaugh

Sherman’s Side

“I told him good job, good game, but he didn’t give me nothing back,” Sherman told NFL Network. “I guess sportsmanship doesn’t go both ways.”

Harbaugh’s Side

“I didn’t realize it was him until he was moving in the other direction,” Harbaugh said, according to NFL.com. “He came up and patted me on the back, and I congratulated him, and same with Doug [Baldwin]. I congratulate the Seahawks. They played a hell of a game.”

Everyone is an idiot…Sherman is a genius

“There were a lot of pundits and ignorant idiots who thought we were gonna lose this game,” he said. “Don’t doubt us. Did they not see the last time we played this team?” That last time was a 42-13 victory in December, also in Seattle. Sherman later said: “A lot of things were said this week that we didn’t appreciate. We did what we expected to do.”

Patrick Willis on Cut Blocks…Does he have a point?

“I feel like as a linebacker or a D-lineman, any cut, it’s a man sport — be a man, hit me up high,” Willis told CSNBayArea.com. “Hit like rams. You don’t see a ram going and cutting another ram’s legs. They hit head to head, pad to pad.”

Harbaugh said he did not know whether Williams’ ankle was broken but acknowledged that Sweezy’s block was “legal, the way the rules are set up.”

Also,

Niners defensive lineman Ray McDonald, who also suffered an ankle injury in the contest, agreed with Willis’ feelings about legal cut blocks.

“They have to do something about that,” McDonald told the website. “They’re making all these rules for QBs and receivers. They got to find a way to protect the big fellas on the inside because a lot of dudes get hurt that way.”
